Once there lived a middle aged woman named Bilkis. She had three sons: Her husband was very lazy and he did not do any work. None but she had to work all day long to earn money for the family. One day she met a group of people who came to her village from the Grameen Bank. The said they were interested in helping the poor people, the landless and the helpless. She learnt from them that they must be organised them in groups according to the terms and conditions of Grameen Bank.Then they all were given loans. With the loan money Bilkis made a good profit in the first year and repaid the loan. Then she was given more loan. with the loan money , she bought two hi-breed cows. she raised the cows with due care.Her three sons also helped her. She was much benifited selling milk. She is now an affluent woman. She can take nutritious food and good medical care. International Mother Language Day (আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস) The 21 of February, 1952 is the Language Martyrs' Day. On this day in 1952, Students in Dhaka gave their lives for their mother language. The day is now called International Mother Language Day. মাতৃভাষা বলতে কোন ব্যক্তির প্রথম ভাষাকে বোঝায় লোকজন সহজেই তাদের অনুভূতি, চিন্তা প্রভৃতি তাদের মাতৃভাষার মধ্যে দিয়ে ব্যক্ত করতে পারে একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে উদযাপিত হয় এটি আমাদের জাতীয় জীবনে একটি স্মরণীয় দিন ১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে আমাদের মাতৃভাষার জন্য অনেক লোক তাদের জীবন বিসর্জন দিয়েছিল ভাষা শহীদদের প্রতি প্রদ্ধাও সম্মান প্রদর্শনের জন্য ইউনেস্কো ১৯৯৯ সালে ১৭ নভেম্বর এই দিনটিকে আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস হিসেবে ঘোষণা করে
